Welcome to the demo of Sangre Brillante. The style was submited in the TextPlates competition.
These are the installation instructions.
Via FTP, put the “images” directory of this archive into the /textpattern directory of your hosting.
The “images” directory should be http://domainname/textpattern/images
In the folder called “Pages” you will find 2 text files.
In TXP go to “presentation/pages”. Now open the “default.txt” file from the download and copy/paste the whole thing into the text box and save it.
Now select the “archive” page and do the same thing using the “archive.txt” file from the download as your source.
In the folder called “Forms” you should find 17 text files. You will see that most of the forms already exist in your forms listing in which case you can follow the same procedure as you did for the page templates with one extra process which I will get to in a minute. For the new ones simply click on “Create new form” above the listing on the right and you will be presented with an empty text box to fill.
I have used a specific naming convention to name the form template text files included here.
Totally ignore the .txt suffix.
The first part – example: sidebar – is the Form name.
The bit after the name is “misc”. That is the Form type.
Overwrite any existing form templates or create new ones remembering to fill in the Form name and Form type boxes as well.
Go to presentation/style and you will be shown the “default” CSS. Delete everything that is in the text box (you cannot delete the file) then open up the CSS.txt file from the download and copy/paste it into the text box and save it. Done.
You can manage or create sections in the admin, but you should remember to modify the navbar form template to include these in the links.
This install assumes that you are using clean URL’s. You will need to modify the menu calls in the “navbar” form to call the sections properly. Example: If you have a section called “Gallery”, replace

Bienvenido al sitio-demostración del estilo para TexPattern Sangre Brillante. En este momento, el estilo fue presentado a concurso en la competición TextPlates. A continuación, podrás encontrar una pequeña e incompleta guía de instalación de las imágenes, las páginas, los formularios y el código .css que forman parte del mismo.
Se puede descargar el estilo desde las siguientes direcciones:
Una vez que se descomprimió el .zip o el .rar, pueden encontrarse tres carpetas, con una serie de archivos .txt listos para usar.
Vía FTP, colocar la carpeta, y todo su contenido, en el directorio /textpattern de su hosting. De esta forma, la ruta hacia esa carpeta será http://www.dominio.com/textpattern/images/
Todo lo que hay que hacer es ir al tab Presentation > Pages, dentro del admin de TextPattern, y una vez ahí copiar y reemplazar el contenido respectivo de las páginas default y archive.

A continuación, se debe crear los siguientes formularios y copiar y pegar el contenido respectivo, antes de guardarlos con el tipo de formulario que se indica:
Copiar y reemplazar el contenido del estilo default de TextPattern.
El formulario navbar muestra una lista de las secciones en que está dividido el sitio. A fin de garantizar su correcto funcionamiento, y asumiendo que se utiliza el modo de “URL limpias”, es necesario reemplazar, en cada caso, las instancias de “seccion1”, “seccion2” y etc. por el nombre de la sección y la URL que corresponda.
Para crear o modificar nuevas secciones, ir a Presentation > Sections. Asignarle el estilo y tipo de formulario deseado, e indicar si los artículos que se publican en cada una deben ser indexados en la home del sitio.
Sangre Brillante no necesita plugins para su correcto desempeño. =)
Lo que sigue son las especificaciones sobre el presente estilo, que fue pensado para ser presentado al concurso TextPlates. Enfocado a usuarios de nivel medio (no recomendado para newbies), es altamente adaptable, según las necesidades del usuario y proyecto:
